Our Roofing Process

Step 1: Set Up the Site

Our Pristine Restoration project manager will meet with the Homeowner to review the job. We provide a tarped perimeter around your home to catch debris. We protect your yard, plants, and lawn furniture by moving or covering. We provide a permit that we are required to post on the exterior of your home. We provide a debris dumpster for the removal of construction materials. We protect your driveway by placing boards under the dumpster.

Step 2: Old Roof Removal

We will remove all the old roofing material carefully and all old flashing. Then we inspect the roof frame to meet our standards of quality. Our contractors will change out all exposed roof fixtures with color-coordinated fixtures. Then we inspect roof boards and replace them as needed. We take pictures of bad wood and any existing roof damage. We make sure your roof conforms to current state and city codes.

Step 3: New Roof Installation

Pristine Restoration use GAF Certified (Master Elite) installers. We apply a unique waterproof barrier that follows State and City codes. Only Premium GAF shingles are installed over the roof and nailed in place (unless the homeowner specifies other shingles). We apply waterproof caulk as needed, and we always use tarps to cover the roof if the job takes more than one day.

Step 4: Clean Up

We make sure to dispose of all related debris in the provided dumpster. Pristine Restoration does a walk through the yard to pick up nails that fall from the roof during the job with a magnetic roller. We even leave extra shingles with the Homeowner. We will return any patio furniture or other items to their original spot.

Step 5: Inspection

Pristine Restoration will notify the city, and an inspector will inspect and sign the card. After we complete the job, the Project Manager does a final inspection with the homeowner to ensure the homeowner's satisfaction.
